Our desktop app offers a great way to have SoWork function side by side your other apps and tabs.

Using our Mini Mode in the desktop app keeps your Office open and easily accessible while you're working elsewhere, and you can still be reached in the Office if needed.

Learn how to set it up

1. Download the correct SoWork desktop app for your machine by going to our website, then to the Resources menu and selecting Download SoWork.

2. From there, click on the SoWork desktop app version that suits your computer.

3. After installing, login to your Office.

3. Next, head over the the maximize button and hover over it. Here, you'll be able to move the screen to your left, right, or make it full size.

4. When you select the right or left option, you'll be able to resize the window to any size you'd like. When this happens, only your mic and video buttons will be easily accessible.

5. You can have SoWork open alongside any other page/tab and can still walk around and interact with the world while in this mode.

6. Your SoWork screen will pop to forefront if someone comes up to chat while you’re in another tab/looking at another screen, so you don't need to worry about missing out!
