Guest Areas or External Meeting Areas, are special Guest Zones that keep guests confined to any designated area that you choose.
There are three ways to create Guest Areas in your Office.
Turn an Existing Meeting Zone into a Guest Area
These can be used when a guest is given a link to your space and you'd like to block them from entering the rest of your Office.
1. To create a Guest Area, press 'B' to open Mapmaker, or click on the chair icon.

2. From here, you can select a Meeting Zone that's already been designed by clicking on the perimeter line around it.

3. Next, click 'E' to edit your Meeting Zone.

4. Here, you can use the drop down menu to change this area from a Meeting Zone to Guest Confinement.

5. After clicking Save, any guest that enters your office will load into this zone and won't be able to travel around your Office. Handy, right?
Guest Zones in Mapmaker
1. To create a Guest Area, press 'B' to open Mapmaker, then, go to the Smart Objects category.

2. Then, select the Guest Area tile and place it wherever you'd like your guests to load in.

3. To resize this zone, click on the Guest Area perimeter you've just placed, and select the button on the left side of the toolbar. You can resize this area as needed by dragging your mouse.

4. You're all set! That's another quick way to get your Guest Area set up. If you'd like to select a quick preset of furniture and create a custom Guest Area or Meeting Zone, you can select Quick Sets in the Mapmaker category menu.

5. From there, head back to the Smart Objects category and select your perimeter to place around your new zone. When you're done, select your perimeter and click E to edit, and ensure Guest Confinement is selected.

Guest Zones via a Meeting Zone Link
These can be used when you'd like to invite a guest into your Office, and you'd like to block them from leaving a certain preexisting Meeting Zone and wandering around your space.
1. Enter the Meeting Zone that you'd like to invite your guest to.

2. Next, you'll see a pink box appear at the bottom left of your screen. From here, you'll be able to generate/copy a link to share with your guest.
3. After that link is shared and your guest enters your space, they'll be confined to that single Meeting Zone area for the duration of their visit.
And that's it! Enjoy :)
