General Performance Tips
1. Instead of using SoWork in the browser, try downloading the desktop app on our website: https://sowork.com/download-sowork-mac-windows.

2. While in the space and not speaking with anyone, keep your camera and mic off. Then switch them on when you need to!

3. Keep the desktop app in mini-window mode. This will turn your app into a smaller window that will be present over other apps so you can always see what's happening without needing to see the entire space.

Google Chrome Tip - Graphics/Hardware Acceleration
For those using SoWork in a Chrome Browser, it may be helpful to enable graphics/hardware acceleration on your device. This allows for smooth browsing, audio/video streaming, and overall experience.
Graphics/hardware acceleration refers to the process by which an application will offload certain computing tasks onto specialized hardware components within the system, enabling greater efficiency for your meeting experience.
To enable this, follow these steps:
1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Select Chrome in the top toolbar settings area.

3. Select Preferences.

4. From there, select System.

5. Next, toggle "use graphics/hardware acceleration when available" on.

And there you have it!
