There are numerous ways to invite your team into SoWork. Let’s sort these by scenario.
Invites into a New Office
1. After heading to our website and creating a new Office, you'll be guided through our onboarding flow.
2. This flow takes you through creating your avatar, learning how to walk around and navigate your Office, and lastly - how to invite your team.
3. After clicking the Invite Your Team button, you'll be able to copy a link that will invite your person into the Office as a Teammate, with Teammate permissions.
Teammate Invite Links
1. Head to the Main Menu OR the What's Happening Menu.
2. Each menu will have an Invite Teammates to Your Office Button.
3. From there, you'll be able to copy a link that will invite your individual into the Office as a Teammate, with Teammate permissions. For more on Admin, Teammate, and Guest permissions, check out this article.
4. After you've copied your link, you can send it to your teammate! You can do this by pasting it into a chat or email.
5. When they copy/paste their link into their browser, they'll be able to select/customize their avatar, do a mic/video check, and sign in.
6. And there you have it! Invite complete :)
Email Invites and Inviting Admins
1. To send an email invite to a teammate, admin, or guest, head into the Main Menu.
2. From there, go to Settings.
3. Next, select Team Settings.
4. From there, select Invite Members.
4. Here, you'll be able to enter the email addresses of the people you'd like to invite.
5. And, just below, you can select what role/level of permissions you'd like them to have.
6. After making your selection, click Send Invitation.
7. In this area, you can also invite via link and change the person's permissions in the dropdown menu. When you're ready, select Generate Link and copy/paste it to your teammate.
