Did you know you can use emojis in and out of meetings?

Maybe you love something a teammate said in their standup and want to let them know, or perhaps you'd like to send hugs to everyone in the room!

Here's how...

Using Emojis When Not in a Meeting

1. To use this, click on the smiley face emoji in your lower toolbar.

2. Here, you’ll find heaps of emojis you’re able to send to the room (hearts, hugs, unicorns, fire, thumbs up, rocket, laughing, and much more).

3. Numbers 1-9 are bound to specific emojis, so feel free to use these hotkeys for faster emoting!

4. When used, these will appear near your head/right by your avatar, along with text that describes the action.

5. This is what it will look like on your screen when the emoji is used.

6. This is what it will look like on your team's screen when the emoji is used.

7. These emojis can be used at any time, and it provides a lively office atmosphere, since others will be able to see your emoji, and can emoji right back atcha!

Using Emojis in Meetings

1. If you're in a meeting with at least one other person, you can click on the emoji button in your lower toolbar.

2. After doing so, you’ll see it appear at the bottom of your screen and float upwards, then disappear. Any emojis you send will have your name underneath it, so others will know it's from you.

💡Note: if your camera is off when you use these, your avatars expression will change to emote what you’ve chosen (laugh, heart eyes, fire emojis etc)

3. These are great for in the moment reactions to things that are being said, and you can even emoji a teammates' face!
