General Mapmaker User Guide
1. Open and close Mapmaker by pressing 'B' or clicking the Mapmaker icon in the bottom right corner.
2. Browse categories of assets by using the left-to-right slider. Click into categories to open up options. There's a ton to explore here!
3. Select an item to place it. Press 'R' to rotate the item based on how you want it to look.
4. To edit or adjust objects, select them while in Mapmaker. The object will then turn green, and an edit menu will appear.
Search for Objects in Mapmaker
1. Choose the category you'd like to search in - Furniture, Walls, or Floors. From there, select the search icon.
2. Type in the kind of object you're looking for.
Enable/Disable the Mapmaker Music
If you'd like to toggle the Mapmaker music on and off, you can do that right from the Mapmaker menu.
You're also able to adjust this music from: Main Menu --> Settings --> Notifications --> Notification Sounds
Adding Your Logo or Custom Images
Let's learn how to show off your team's awesome logo or design!
1. First, open Mapmaker in your office by pressing 'B' on your keyboard.
2. Next, slide over to the Office Tools category.
3. Select the size and orientation of the logo you would like to use, and place it on the floor or wall of your choosing! As a placeholder, you'll see Add Your Logo Here. Now, here's how to customize it :)
4. With Mapmaker open, select the logo you placed. You will now see a menu of options. Select 'I' to add a custom image to the logo.
5. Select Add Image and select an image from your computer, then hit Save.
Ta-Da! 🎉 Your perfect logo has arrived!
Adding a Logo or Image to an Object
1. Open the Mapmaker by pressing 'B' on your keyboard, and click the item you want to add an image onto.
2. Press 'I' on your keyboard, to open the image selection menu.
3. Press Add Image and select the file you want to upload. After that, click Save.
Now, go forth and add as many logos and images as you want!
How to Delete a Logo or Image
1. Open the Mapmaker with 'B' again, and select the item you want to remove the imagery from.
2. Select Replace or Delete as needed, and then click Save.
💡 Note: To adjust the size of the Mapmaker menu, click on the down arrow at the top right of the menu. The arrow will say Reduce Size, and will shrink the menu down to a medium size. Click on the Reduce Size button again to shrink the menu down to a small size.
