This article will help you move your avatar so you can join in on the fun. And the meetings (🎊)

🐱‍🏍Walkthrough

Moving your avatar is important, because walking up to someone (like you do in real life) is how you start a video call.

There are two main ways to do this:

1. Using the Keyboard: Press the W-A-S-D keys or the arrow keys to move in a specific direction. This might take a bit of practice because of the orientation of the room. You got this 👏.

2. Using your Mouse: Simply point and click and your avatar will move to the selected location.

💡 Note: If objects are getting in your way, clicking with your mouse will automatically maneuver you around them.

⚡️Character Actions⚡️

We have recently also added the ability to jump in SoWork! Just press the spacebar on your keyboard! You can also press X near a chair, bench, etc. to sit :)

🏃🏽‍♀️ Why should you move?

Meeting up with people in SoWork mimics how you do so in real life. You walk up to them to start a conversation and walk away to end it.
